Scam company Copytrack
They are reported as a scam company that simply sends threatening emails to people to try to extort money from them. Scam ignore at all cost. This should shut down to stop people become a victim of this kind of things.
Scam all the way. Ignore, don’t even reply.
They remind us of those fair guide companies in Mexico that claimed you advertised in their “expo guides”. Scammers in the same line of”business”.
Don’t let yourself be intimidated, they have zero legal credibility despite what their accomplice “blogger” claims on a website to ‘help you understand and deal with them”.
Avoid like the plague. I went to this company to protect my images. They produced countless images and examples of where my images were being used without my consent. I spent hours and hours verifying this. Then I would receive email after email after email telling me that the offenders were outside of their jurisdiction and they refused to do anything.
Then they got one hit and sent me a demand to register my copyright in the USA, I had not had chance to fill it in when they sent a further demand and stated they would be billing me if I did not fill it in.
What right do you have as a company to demand where and how I protect my intellectual property. None, you have non. I would never ever use this company again if they were the last company on earth. There are much better alternatives.
Big waste of time and money
Cooperating with Copytrack GmbH is the biggest waste of time and money. Don’t do it.
The network they pretend to have doesn’t exist. They don’t even have partners in their neighbour countries. The only thing they (a group of students with zero professional background in law) do is sending emails. If the opponent doesn’t reply (which happens in 90 % of the cases), they just close the case. There is no strategy, no juridical follow-up and no real partnership between them and you as their client. They even accept deals with the opponent without previously getting in touch with you. That way you can lose a lot of money.
There is zero internal communication and zero internal organization in their offices. A lot of information is lost or needs to be communicated twice. You will never get an update on their work as everything they do is like a huge black box. I suppose: an empty black blox.
Furthermore, it looks like they already do have a cash flow problem. It happened a couple of times to me that I had to wait weeks for my share. So I guess they’re already down for the count which is actually a good thing.
Check the background of their CEO. There’ve even been criminal charges being pressed against him in connection with an ICO for Copytrack.
